Most people choose to have orthodontic treatment in order to have a healthy, beautiful smile. It will improve your self-image and increases your confidence in yourself. Most of our patients are children, but approximately 30% are adults.

When your orthodontic treatment is completed you will have a great smile – which you will want everyone to notice!  Our goal is to make your orthodontic experience as pleasant as possible as we provide the highest level of orthodontic care for you.

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children visit an orthodontist for their first visit between the age of 7 and 8 years of age. At that age we are checking for crowding, missing or extra teeth, jaw/bite relationship, habits that may affect the teeth or jaw growth such as finger or thumb sucking, mouth breathing, and tongue posture/thrusting.

Most orthodontic treatment begins between the ages of 11-13 depending on growth and development of the child. In some cases early treatment may be recommended due to severe crowding or to correct a skeletal discrepancy between the jaws.
