FAQ
Am I too old for orthodontic treatment?
No, there is no age limit for having orthodontic treatment. Adults teeth tend to move a little slower since the bone is more dense, but patient cooperation tends to be better in adults.
At what age should a child be checked by an orthodontist?
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends having your child examined by an orthodontist at 7-9 years of age. Treatment will usually not be started at that age, but an evaluation of any developing problems can be assessed.
